Conditions of Hire
A deposit/bond of as listed is required to confirm your booking within 7 days of
reservation request. The bond is refundable on termination of hire, less fuel costs,
and any damage to houseboat or equipment, a charge will be made for extra cleaning
or late return if necessary. Full payment is payable 2 months prior to commencement of hire.
By NSW Waterways regulations, the number of persons on board must not exceed 12
and the boat must only be driven in daylight hours.
The letting is made on the understanding that the boat is placed at the disposal
of the hirer on the date desired, unless the Company is prevented from doing so
by mechanical breakdown, river conditions or any unforeseen circumstances. In
this case all monies paid will be reunded in full. The Company reserves the
right to cancel any cruise without notice.
Cancellation of any booking must be made at least two months prior to commencement
of hire and no monies will be refunded until the full period of the booking has been
rebooked. A 10% cancellation fee will be charged.
We advise very strongly that you arrange your own cancellation insurance in case of illness.
Hiring party must include at least one person over the age of 21 years with a current
motor vehicle drivers license. No all male or all female bookings.
Boarding time 3:00pm, boats must be at our mooring and vacated by 9.00am on last day of hire.
*Houseboats are equipped with mobile phones.
